  • How do I get started?

    Its easy. You could either text us, or call us at 412-245-7381; or email us at ektalundpt@gmail.com.
    Once you are ready to take the next step towards your healing journey, we will guide you through the rest. You don’t need any referral, prescription, prior authorization to get started.

  • What should I expect from my first appointment?

    On your first visit - that is your initial evaluation we will divide the sessions in 3 parts- history taking, examination and then designing a plan of care for you .We will take the time to truly understand your history, goals, and any medical information relevant to your care. We will then perform a physical therapy examination starting with posture, movement and strength assessments and special tests. All of these are aimed towards providing detailed insight to appropriately understand and design a plan of care for you 

  • Will I be working with the same therapist?

    We understand what you are going through and want to make sure you are the most comfortable. Rest assured, for every visit, you will be seen by the same, well trained therapist that started you care, who understands your issues and goals very well. We have clients who like to see us both in South Florida and NYC area and we make sure they have the same therapist working with them.

  • I have done PT before. How is this differnet?

    Typically we get patients who have tried Physical therapy before. What sets us apart is our specialized training and our approach towards care management. We believe that human body is very complex and there are multiple things at play at the same time. We will find all the root causes of your issue and take a holistic total body approach towards your wellness. Even if you have had therapy before, and unfortunately it did not get you the result that you wanted, that does not mean it’s the end of your healing journey. Our comprehensive, integrated approach will help you make gains towards empowering you to be the best version of yourself.

  • How is Pelvic floor PT different?

    We are so glad that we are able to educate people about Pelvic floor and importance of Physical therapy. There is a common misconception that Pelvic PT is only Kegels, or it’s only for women. Our therapists are trained on highly specialized programs like Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, Barral Institute (Visceral and Neural Mobilization) , and Celebrate Mulebriy- Michelle Lyons. We specialize in intra-vaginal, intra-rectal assessment and treatment. With your consent, we incorporate these in your care.

  • Do you do home visits or Telehealth?

    Yes we do both. We bring our own equipment and everything that we need.
    We understand that there are instances when you cannot come in for a visit. Telehealth can be very effective way of delivering Physical therapy. We get a lot of clients who do tele-visits with us, specially those who live outside of our service areas. Please reach out to us for Telehealth visit and we will guide you how to set it up.
