South Florida Deserves Great Physical Therapy
If you live in Boca Raton, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, or anywhere across Miami-Dade and Broward County, you already know the frustration: rushed appointments, rotating therapists, very little actual hands-on time. You deserve more than that.
At Ekta Lund Physical Therapy in Fort Lauderdale, every session is one patient, one therapist, one full uninterrupted hour. You always work directly with Ekta — a Certified Functional Manual Therapist credentialed by the Institute of Physical Arts, one of the most advanced physical therapy certifications in the country.
Our Fort Lauderdale clinics offer free parking, making us easily accessible from anywhere in South Florida. Most patients from Boca Raton, Aventura, or North Miami are in the door in under 30 minutes. For many, the drive is the easiest part of a healing journey that finally gets results.
WHO WE HELP
Two Specialties. One Practice. Completely Yours
We specialize in two areas that most clinics treat separately — pelvic floor dysfunction and orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Many of our patients need both, and we are uniquely positioned to treat the whole person.
Pelvic Floor Patients
Women and men across South Florida dealing with leakage, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and bowel issues. Conditions that are common — but not normal, and absolutely treatable.
Urinary Leakage & Urgency
Sexual Dysfunction
Tailbone Pain
IT Band Syndrome
Hip & Low Back Pain
Shoulder dysfunction
Athletes & Active Adults
Runners training for Miami Marathon, golfers at Boca's elite courses, pickleball players at every level, triathletes, cyclists — anyone whose body is their instrument and whose performance matters.

Chronic Prostatitis
The Overlap Nobody Talks About
The active woman who leaks during her run. The golfer with chronic pelvic tightness affecting the swing. You do not have to choose which problem to fix. We treat both in the same session.

YOUR COMMUNITY. OUR CLINIC
CONCIERGE & ON-WATER CARE
Because Some of Our Patients Live on the Water
Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the world — and some of our patients prefer their care to come to them. We sees patients aboard their vessels, bringing the same expert, one-on-one physical therapy to the marina, the dock, or wherever you are anchored.
Whether you are a full-time liveaboard, spending the season on the Intracoastal, or simply prefer the privacy and convenience of concierge care, we can accommodate. The same advanced Functional Manual Therapy, pelvic floor expertise, and Orthopedic rehabilitation — delivered where you are most comfortable.
The Difference
A Higher Standard of Care - Built Around You
There are many good Physical Therapists in South Florida. What we offer is something more specific: a rare combination of advanced specialization, uninterrupted one-on-one time, and a deeply individualized approach that treats the root cause of your condition — not just the symptom that brought you in.
One Patient. One Hour. Always - Every session is 60 uninterrupted minutes with Ekta directly. Your time is never shared, never rushed, never handed off.
Root Cause, Not Just Relief - We look beyond the sore spot to understand why your body is holding tension or compensating. Finding the why is what creates lasting change.
Whole-Body Perspective - Pelvic floor dysfunction and orthopedic pain are rarely isolated. We connect the dots between your nervous system, structure, and movement.
Direct Access — No Barriers - No referral needed. No waiting weeks for paperwork. In Florida you have the right to see a physical therapist directly.
Flexible, Transparent Pricing - We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Call us before your first visit — no surprises.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What South Florida Patients Ask Us Most
Do I need a referral? No. Florida is a direct-access state — you can book directly without a physician's referral or prescription.
Do you accept insurance? We are a direct-pay practice. We provide a superbill after each visit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Call us before your first visit and we will walk you through exactly what to expect financially.
Is there parking? Yes — both Fort Lauderdale locations offer free parking.
How far is it from Boca / Aventura / Miami? Most patients reach us in under 30 - 40 minutes. Boca Raton is roughly 25–30 min north on I-95. Aventura is about 20 - 25 minutes. Miami and South Beach are approximately 40 minutes via I-95 North. As we know in down here in S FL, traffic can be a factor. Please account for that when planning a trip. Call us if you prefer in-home visits.
What makes pelvic floor PT different from regular PT? It requires specialized training. Few PT clinic offers this, and fewer still have the depth of specialization, experience we bring to every session.
Do you treat athletes too? Absolutely. We work with runners, golfers, pickleball players, triathletes, and cyclists across South Florida — helping you move better, recover faster, and stay in the game longer.
